I'm not new to mineral makeup, I've tried a few well-known brands, however, what I absolutely love about EB mineral foundation is (apart from the fact that it doesn't contain any nasty chemicals) that for the very first time ever (!) someone actually makes a shade that's so right for me. I'm very pale but VERY yellow at the same time and in the past I couldn't find the right shade no matter where I looked - everything looked either too orange, too pink or too grey on me...even those brands who claim to make 'yellow-based makeup' don't make foundations yellow enough for me. I was so over the moon to find that EB actually makes a shade that's spot on (Beige). I don't need to mix two (or three) shades together, 'Beige' suits me perfectly.
As for the application, I found that using the EB bronzing brush to apply the foundation does a better job than using the foundation kabuki brush but that's just my personal preference.

I bought a whole stack of samples (I especially was looking for a foundation with yellow undertones) and Kitten was the one for me. It suits my olive (people say I'm olive) slightly tanned complexion beautifully.
The foundation is amazing!! My only regret is that I haven't found you and your foundation sooner-took me years and I spent a fortune on other foundations including mineral ones. It goes on like a dream (my first application-so impressed I had to let you know!) although I haven't tried the wet application yet, but I'll do next! With 50 years - i need to disguise a few lines-so we'll see how this application will compare to the dry one. Applying the finishing powder (Dewy) over top settles it for a whole day, but I need to experiment a bit more to see what else it can do.
Oh yeh one more thing. The option to buy samples to a very nice price it such a brilliant thing to have! The samples come in a very cute little tube like container and aren't at all messy, some samples from competitors are spilling the powder and are arkward to use-not these!
I'm ordering a full size right now and can't wait for more products to try!! Thank you EB for such beautiful products and great service too!

I ordered some samples and I am absolutely enthusiastic about these foundations. I am going to repurchase 100%. They feel great on the skin, as if you have nothing on. They last all day, also when I go training. According to me it's better to blend them with fingers after using the brush as Elemental Beauty suggest in the instructions. I am over 50 with bad pigmetation and need a lot of coverage.
Me and my daughter tried this out dry - she thought it was the bees knees, I prefered mine with the brush damp.
I also bought the concealer as well, thinking I would need a cover up as well, but I think the concealer is not going to be used much. A very good coverage without looking caked on.

I agree with all the comments made by the previous reviewers - these products are fantastic. I have been a customer for about 2 years and would not use any other make-up now. The foundation is better than anything I have used before - and I have tried most on the market, over the years (I am 43), including other mineral foundations. The foundation covers all my blemishes but looks so natural, and lasts all day - I've even been swimming with it on and it has stayed put. I am a recent convert to elemental beauty, I have pale skin and freckles, and I am beginning to get quite wrinkly eyes. I ordered lots of the samples in soft focus , and have decided that Nude suits best. The powder if soft and finely milled, and gives me "my skin, but better". No orange marks, and my freckles which I love are still there, but everything is so evened out. Brilliant. I am about to try my first eyeshadow now. (Posted on 18/06/2010)

The best mineral foundation I've tried. Oatmeal and Nude both suit me well, right now I'm using Nude in healing. It's amazing and it doesn't make my skin look dry and flaky. It looks perfect even after a long day at work.

Whenever I wore liquid foundation (never again!) I always felt like washing my face, it just didn't feel natural. But when I'm wearing this foundation I feel so fresh all the time - I want to sleep in this stuff! (Posted on 13/06/2010)

I love the healing foundation! Perfect coverage all day and a flawless finish, it is surely the best foundation I've ever tried! I've tried many mineral foundations (including a very famous one) and none have compared to Elemental Beauty. Firstly, Nicola has been extremely helpful regards shades and samples for me to try. There are lots of shades to choose from and it can be quite difficult ordering them over the internet, although I cannot fault the shade chart on the site, it's pretty easy to decide which one's going to suit you.

I use the foundation wet (just add a few drop of water into the lid and mix a bit of the minerals with it to make a liquid.) I love the coverage this make up gives me, my skin looks FLAWLESS and my skin tone looks even and extremely natural. So many people have commented on my skin since using it, I have very pale skin and use the luminous shade, and lots of people have said it looks like porcelain, which I take as a compliment! The minerals blend so beautifully onto your skin as they are so finally milled and light, they buff on and blend like silk leaving your skin feeling lovely and almost refreshed as the product is so good for your skin. You look so natural, it's amazing.

This is by far the best mineral make up I've ever used and I can honestly say hand on heart that I shall be staying with Elemental Beauty. (Posted on 29/01/2010)

Although I have no skin probs like Rosacea etc I ordered the healing foundation Its wonderful very finely milled and has a silky feel when you've applied it . I like medium coverage in a foundation so it takes a few layers to get the desired coverage but it doesn't go "chalky or shiny" just a nice soft glow . Im 57 so have a few lines around my eyes but it doesn't accentuate them! I have a light medium skin tone , warm colouring with some freckles over my nose and a bit of surface redness ( broken capillaries ) on my cheeks . I did struggle to find the right shade but with Nicolas help I settled on 50/50 sand and sunshine mix for the winter and in the summer when I have a bit of a tan just "sand." on its own. I have tried quite a few mineral brands inc' BE and none of them are as good as Elemental beauty's . This foundation is excellent - the powder is so fine that it blends really easily, and the colour match is so good that you can't even tell it's there! It won't cover everything, by any means, but it evens out skin tone enough that I don't mind a couple of marks being visible still. I also like the fact that the sifter jar doesn't have holes in - finally I can take my foundation out with me without it all flying out when I open the lid! (Posted on 07/01/2010)

I have the Soft Focus foundation in Barley, and I love it! I ordered it in full size almost right away as I was so pleased with the quality of the sample.The foundation never looks chalky, has a really good pore and line-reducing effect, and it lasts for ages on me. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the glass jar as I prefer a sifter, but that's just my preference.Overall, would highly recommend! (Posted on 31/08/2009)

The customer service with Elemental Beauty really is second to none. I emailed Nicola with my concerns over picking a foundation colour, as I am shade NC15 in MAC's foundation and I couldn't find an equivalent. Nicola advised me to order samples in barley, nude and sushine, though I also received samples of oatmeal, honey and beige which was a lovely suprise. Samples came packed in cute little eppendorf tubes (biomed undergraduate so loved that!) and there is enough for numerous applications. I think I have just about worked out that equal quantities of nude and oatmeal provides the perfect shade for me.

This foundation is extremely refined, very very soft and has lovely coverage. I am 20 years old and still have residual teenage problems of dryness around the nose and cheeks and oiliness on my forehead and nose. This foundation doesn't look at all cakey or like a mask even with several layers on the drier areas and also controlled the oilier parts! I found this mineral foundation a lot quicker to apply than liquid, and buffing it in to the skin provides a beautiful airbrushed look. I like how I can control the amount of coverage I want as think it's quite nice to still have some of my freckles on show!

What can I say? This foundation is fabulous! I use the Healing foundation (custom made shade) and I love it. I love the coverage, I love the feel, I love the way my skin looks. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or wrinkles, (I'm 44), or irritate my skin the way other mineral foundations do. My skin looks and feels so natural and soft and I look and feel years younger.
